What We Believe
The Bible is the perfect word of God. It is holy and inspired by God and it is God's only written source and final authority in knowing God. 2 Tim 3:15-16
There is one God, eternally revealed in three-persons - The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is author of all things and is the God of all of history. Matt 28;19
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was concieved by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and then took our sins upon himself on the cross. His death on the cross paid the penalty God has for our sins. He rose from the grave, ascended back into heaven and is at the right hand of the Father in heaven working as mediator and advocate. He is returning to earth to judge all mankind, the living and the dead, and will set up his promised Eternal Kingdom. John 1:14
Heaven is a real place and is the eternal destiny for those people who have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior thereby being made right with God. John 14:1-3
Hell is a real place created for the Devil and his demons. All people who die without Jesus as their personal Savior will be sentenced to hell for eternity. Luke 16:19-31
Every person who accepts Jesus as Savoir becomes a Christian by being born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Every Christian possesses the Holy Spirit as God's deposit of salvation and is sealed unto the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit is God's redeeming presence and regenerating power in their life. Every Christian should seek ever to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit continually. Romans 8;1-17
Every Christian must dedicate themselves to serve Jesus Christ and submit to His authority over our lives. Every Christian must have compassion for others and concern for the well being of every person. Romans 6:1-10
God has chosen to accomplish His purpose through the Church, the indivisible body of Christ consisting of those who are born again in Christ, working together in local congregations in every community while working as One Body everywhere. Matthew 28:19-20
